Ford's HALF BIRTHDAY (Plus)

Ford this month:

-18lbs 26.25in (6mo)

-He is wearing 9-12 month clothes, and size 4 diapers
-He continues to be a happy, chill, lovable guy! He has such an easy smile and will just go with the flow in every situation. He only cries if someone else is sad (especially sister)... such a sweet soul, or if he's really tired or hungry.

-Sleep is great! He has been in his crib since about 4.5 months. It was a bit of a transition, but at 5 months he started sleeping in a sleep sack (from the merlin sleep suit) in his crib. By 6.5 months he was sleeping 6pm to 6am, with 2 2 hour naps/day. He has to sleep with about 5 wubbanubs (pacifiers) and he likes to gather them up and sleep on top of them!
-Still breast feeding like a champ and started solids at 6 months
-He is so independent. He can play on the floor, in his bouncer or seat for as long as you'll let him, but still loves getting attention!

Milestones
-He's now had 6 haircuts! just trims by mommy. That crazy chicken hair can GROW!
--Rolling over (back to tummy) on Christmas day- 3.5mo. Tummy to back at 4.5mo
-Army crawling (5.5mo), He gets up on his hands and knees and rocks, but hasn't crawled that way yet
-Sitting up- mostly tripod (6mo)
-Eating solids (6mo)
-Sleeping through the night (6.5mo)
-Talking (baby talk of course)
-Blowing raspberries
-He has all the symptoms of teething, but nothing so far... big sister did the same at this age, but didn't cut her first tooth until 10mo so I'm not sitting on the edge of my seat.

Likes
-Watching/listening to sister.
-Loving on Lola
-Favorite foods: yellow/orange/red bell peppers, apples, apple sauce, bananas, chicken... pretty much anything
-Being tickled, talked to and sung to: ABC's, 5 Little Monkeys, You Are My Sunshine
-Crawling all over the place
-Activity mat
-Jumper
-Playing with tags on toys
-Trying to get his hands on anything with a wire
-Putting things in his mouth
-Getting attention
-Bath time- he switched from the bath sling to the seat- big boy!
-He's obsessed with electronics! He could watch TV all day if you let him... he even tries to watch the baby monitor

Dislikes
-When someone else cries
-SUPER loud noises
-If someone walks past him without acknowledging him...
