Looking Up: July 2017

5.14.17-6. 14.17

Ford this month:

-19.5lbs 28in (9mo)

-He is wearing 12 month clothes, and size 4 diapers
-He continues to be a happy, chill, lovable guy! He has such an easy smile and will just go with the flow in every situation. He only cries if someone else is sad (especially sister... such a sweet soul), if he's 'stuck' standing up somewhere (haha) or if he's really tired or hungry.

-Sleep is great! Sleeping 6pm to 7am, with 2 2 hour naps/day. He has to sleep with his "babies"- 4 wubbanubs (pacifiers) and he likes to gather them up and sleep on top of them!
-Still breast feeding morning and night, supplementing with formula during the day, and LOVING ALL solid food
-He is so independent. He can play on the floor, in his walker for as long as you'll let him, but still loves getting attention!

Milestones
-He's now had more haircuts than I can count. I bought clippers and gave it a go... that was a learning curve, but I'm getting better!
-Crawling on 'all' 4's (8mo).. he has always held his right leg up and out (even since army crawling). We went to the chiropractor and found out his hip was tight, so with an adjustment and some daily exercises we're on the path to crawling on BOTH knees!
-Sitting up unassisted and transferring from lying to sitting to standing (8mo)
-Cruising around furniture (8.5mo)
-holding his own bottle (9mo)
-2 (bottom) teeth (8.5mo)
-Babbling 'mama' 'dada'
-Blowing raspberries

Likes
-Watching/listening to sister.
-Loving on Lola
-Playing peek-a-boo
-Favorite foods: chicken, cheerios, applesauce, cheese crisps, mango
-Being tickled, talked to and sung to: ABC's, 5 Little Monkeys, You Are My Sunshine
-Crawling/climbing all over the place
-Walker
-Playing with tags on toys
-Trying to get his hands on anything with a wire
-Putting things in his mouth
-Getting attention
-Bath time
-He's obsessed with electronics! He could watch TV all day if you let him... he even tries to watch the baby monitor

Dislikes
-When someone else cries
-SUPER loud noises
-If someone walks past him without acknowledging him...
